Police appeal for witness to crash in Newcastle under Lyme which killed Michael Thompson to come forward

Police investigating a fatal road traffic collision in Newcastle are appealing for a witness to come forward.

The collision occurred at around 5.15pm on Saturday 3 May on Bradwell Lane, Newcastle near its junction with Arnold Grove and Claire Avenue. 57 year-old Michael Thompson died after the Honda motorcycle he was riding was in collision with a green Toyota Corolla. Collision investigation officers are keen to hear from two passing people, one of whom may possibly be named Anthony. These individuals kindly administered CPR to Mr Thompson at the scene. They may be able to assist in the subsequent investigation.

Officers would also like to speak to the driver of a dark coloured Mini One which was being driven along Arnold Grove from Bradwell Lane at the time of the collision.
