Police appeal after mill raid

AN appeal has been issued after a mill raid near Cheadle.

Thieves got away with several valuable items following a raid at a mill on the edge of Cheadle last week.

A silver Fiat van along with a steam cleaner valued at £1500 and a industrial blasting pot valued at £2,000 were stolen from Adderley Mill.

The incident was reported to police on Wednesday, October 16, and it is believed that the raid took place between 2.20am on October 15 and 4.40am on October 16.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on the 101 number or alternatively the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
