OSCAR Pet Foods are not just an awardwinning, high nutrition brand of pet food.
They are a local business whose free delivery service can be seen throughout the area as they visit pets and their owners with food ranges and nutritional advice.
It is this special partnership between the Oscar franchisees and the community they serve which makes the brand different from many others.
Now they are extending the partnership further by joining up with the Cheadle Animal Welfare Society.
For the next three months, the local Oscar franchisee will contribute money from the food they sell to help this very important local group in its continuing support for lost and abandoned animals.
It could be a current customer’s pet already enjoying the new-tasting and nutritious Oscar food. Or a first-time introduction to its natural outstanding ranges. In either case, some of the price will be donated to ensure animals are loved and well cared for.
Local Oscar franchisee, Jenny Little, is delighted to be involved. She said: “Local animal welfare centres do incredible good for the animals and we want to be part of this community initiative by helping in any way we can.” Margaret Russell, secretary of the Cheadle Animal Welfare Society is equally happy to work alongside Oscar Pet Foods.
She said: “Taking care of abandoned animals takes time and a lot of expense.
To have a local partner to help us is fantastic news.” If you want find out more about the Cheadle Animal Welfare Society, call Margaret Russell on 01335 390369 or for Oscar Pet Food’s local support, call Jenny Little on 01538421077.
