FAMILIES are being invited to enjoy a day of fun and activities at a town park this weekend.
The seventh Churchill Road Festival is set to take place on Sunday (August 25) at Churchill Road Recreation Ground in Cheadle.
Admission is free along with many free attractions.
The day starts with five-a-side football and a darts competitions.
In the main showground there will be the Inflatable World.
This will include including the Giant Crazy Cottage, Climbing Wall, and Cheadle’s Mr Strong Man Fred Burton (pictured left), Refreshments, Craft stalls, Licensed Bar, Disco, and the Wrights pie-eating competition.
To end the day in the main marquee, there will be dancing to the Four Days band, all the way from Yorkshire.
