CHECKLEY Parish Council have handed out surveys in and around Tean's High Street to see how the people who live and work in Tean think of some initial ideas that the council have looked at.

The ideas are up-to-date and possibly involve expanding the Christmas light installation, which is usually installed mainly along the Tean High Street during December each year.

The main idea is to make the installation more reliable, economic and to enhance the areas around the road junctions.

The council delivered 190 survey sheets to residents and businesses along High Street from September 4.

The survey was completed on Monday, September 16, and all the options will be discussed at the Parish Council meeting on October 15 when a decision will hopefully made that will match the majority of the responses to the survey.

Contact Sharon Farnell the Parish Clerk for further details on 01889 591503.
