PAINSLEY Catholic College celebrated its annual Christmas supper and concerts in its usual festive, heart-warming manner.

The concerts took place over two nights, and included traditional Christmas Carols and pieces played by the College’s Wind Band as well as performances by talented groups such as the Orchestra, Jazz Band, String Group, and Saxophone Group.

The College choir was joined by the Year Seven choir who entertained the audience with a variety of songs. The audience were also treated to drama performances from the GCSE Drama students.

Tara Thorn, Head of Creative Arts said: “The concerts were filled with a wide variety of performances. There are many very talented musicians in the school who deserve the credit for the fantastic standard of music that they produce.”
