A masked ball in the stately setting of Consall Hall gave a sophisticated edge to Leek High School's annual prom night last Thursday.

A total of 123 teenagers from Leek High were joined by students from co-located Meadows Special School for the momentous occasion celebrating the end of their compulsory school days.

Transport was provided in all its forms, from a horse and cart to a stretch limousine. But, in true tradition, members of Waterhouses Young Farmers turned up in tractors.

Meanwhile at Westwood College, Year 11 students arrived at Old Hall in a multitude of vehicles from stretch limousines, convertibles, an ice cream van to a carriage pulled by two horses.
