Officers from the Staffordshire Moorlands Local Policing Team (LPT) are appealing for witnesses after a shed burglary near Leek.

The break-in happened when offenders forced entry to a shed in the Tittesworth Estate, Blackshaw Moor, between 6pm on Saturday 12 October and 11.30am on Monday 14 October.

Items stolen include a limited edition Giant XTC850 mountain bike which is silver at the rear and gun metal grey at the front.

It has slim road tyres, an upgraded chain, chain guard, brakes, handle bars and seat, and is worth around £600.

A cordless Makita drill worth £280 and a large McCullock chain saw worth around £250 were also stolen.

Anyone with information on the break-in, or the whereabouts of the stolen property, is asked to contact PC Juliette Scrimshaw at Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 255 of October 15.

Alternatively, they can contact independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
