CHEADLE slumped to the bottom of the table on suffering a five-wicket defeat at the hands of Stafford at Tean Road.
The hosts were left in a spin by slow bowler Aparajit Singh, who took 7-31 as Cheadle crashed to 95 all out.
Adam Alcock made 21 for the home side.
Cheadle captain Chris Barker picked up 4-35 in attempting to stem the Stafford run chase, but Rob James made 39 to help the visitors victory.
Cheadle 2nds chalked up their first win of the season in Premier Division B, beating Stafford away by 69 runs.
Jonathon Clowes top scored with 46 for Cheadle and Jack Winfield took 4-40 for the winners.
There were two wickets apiece also for Paul Barker, Adam Davies and Tom Cadman.
