Haregate Community Queen and her retinue invite you to walk with them and get sponsors to help them raise money for their chosen charity Love4Leah on Thursday, August 21, at 10am. They will be walking to Tittesworth Reservoir through the fields and when you are there all those who have been sponsored and raised some money will be met and given a free picnic lunch and drink. Adults, children and dogs are all welcome and the child to raise the most sponsorship money will receive a prize. Haregate Community Queen's Annual Dog Show is taking place on August 31 starting at 1pm. There are 10 classes such as prettiest bitch, most handsome dog and cutest puppy. Jewellery, gift card and cupcake making sessions are taking place on Friday 29th August at Haregate Community Centre from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. Something to suit all ages. Staff at Morrisons in Newcastle Road, Leek, are taking part in a Leek to London exercise bike challenge on Friday, August 22, from 9am onwards. All proceeds will go to the store's chosen charity Sue Ryder.
