A monthly market has had a revamp thanks to new market stalls which have been purchased by a town council.
Leek Town Council has bought 20 pop-up stalls which are now being used, along with the Staffordshire Moorlands District Council pop-up stalls, for the monthly Totally Locally Sunday Supplement.
The additional stalls, which are also available for use by community groups, were purchased using part of the £10,000 pot of cash which was made available to the town through the Mary Portas High Street Fund.
Now with 40 regular stall holders, the award-winning Totally Locally Sunday Supplement is going from strength to strength.
Co-organiser Marc Briand, said: "The new pop up stalls were really well received by the traders and visitors to the market.
"It gave us the chance to try a slightly different layout which went down well and the market looked so much better as well."
He added: "Now that we have moved onto the new stalls we are on the lookout for more quality food and craft stalls to grow the market even more.
