Staffordshire Moorlands Local Policing Team’s (LPT) Inspector will be out and about over the coming weeks to meet local people and find out about the issues you want them to deal with.
The ‘Your Service, Your Voice’ campaign is running as part of the force’s policing plan objective of dealing with what matters to local communities.
It will give local residents and businesses the chance to meet Local Policing Teams face-to-face, to voice issues and discuss any crime or safety concerns they may have about their neighbourhoods.
Inspector Jon Ward and his policing team will be at Morrisons in Cheadle on Friday 25th April from 10am – 2pm.
Inspector Jon Ward said: “I want to make sure that the service we provide is based on the needs of the communities we serve.
“We are accountable to the public and we are committed to being open and transparent in how we serve our communities. One of the ways to do this is to be visible and accessible. Understanding the issues that people tell us matter the most to them, and taking action to resolve those issues, has to be a priority.
“Crime and anti-social behaviour in Staffordshire continues to reduce. And it’s a tribute to the hard work and commitment of police officers, staff, Special Constables and other volunteers that victims in Staffordshire have the highest satisfaction levels with the service they receive than any other place in the country.
“I’m determined that we continue this good work and I want Staffordshire Moorlands Local Policing Team to provide an outstanding service to the communities we serve”.
