Man taken to hospital after falling from a tree in Ash Bank Road, Werrington

A MAN was taken to hospital with a fractured leg after falling from a tree.

Emergency services were called to the incident on Ash Bank Road in Werrington last Wednesday at 10.10am.

An ambulance and rapid response vehicle attended.

A spokesman for the West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "Officers found the 25-year-old man had fallen from a tree onto some grass and sustained a fractured leg.

"He was immobilised as a precaution and given pain relief at the scene."

The man was taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.
