ROMANCE is in the air for the next screening at a weekly movie night in Leek.
The film showing at the Foxlowe Arts Centre on Tuesday (February 18) will be the 15 rated Le Week- End.
The movie plays with the universal idea that Paris and romance go hand in hand. Revisiting Paris for the first time since their honeymoon, long-married and disenchanted British couple Nick (Jim Broadbent) and Meg (Lindsay Duncan) yearn to recapture their youthful fearlessness and idealism. With an acutely observed script by Hanif Kureishi, and superb performances from its two leads, Le Week-End is an immensely satisfying bittersweet comedy. Doors open for Foxlowe Film Nights at 7pm with a licensed bar and hot drinks available. The film starts at 7.45pm. Admission is £5. Advanced tickets can be bought from the Foxlowe Gallery. www.foxloweartscentre.org.uk
