The cast from the hit Beatles musical 'Let It Be' visited Stoke-on-Trent last week ahead of the show visiting The Regent Theatre this week.
Let It Be showcases the music of the world's most successful rock'n'roll band, in a spectacular theatrical concert charting the band's meteoric rise from their humble beginnings in Liverpool's Cavern Club, through the height of Beatlemania, to their later studio masterpieces.
It is the first time that the Grand Theatrical Rights to The Beatles' back catalogue have been granted by Sony/ATV for a theatre production.
The show, which is running at the Regent until Saturday (April 5) is packed with over forty of The Beatles' greatest hits including: I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Hard Day's Night, Day Tripper, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Strawberry Fields, When I'm 64, Get Back and many more.
During their recent visit to the Potteries, the cast conducted press interviews, had lunch in Hanley and had a look around the area.
Press officer at The Regent Theatre, Jon Owen said: "It was great for the band to take a look around the area ahead of Let It Be visiting The Regent Theatre.
"The show has been really well received and we are looking forward to it."
Let It Be has delighted audiences around the world, including New York, Germany and Monaco, with upcoming dates in Japan and Moscow.
