PUPILS at Blackshaw Moor First School were joined by some special guests when they staged a special Mothers’ Day dinner on Monday.

Twenty mums joined pupils for the meal which had been made by school cook Pat Grindey and assistant cook Caroline Worth.

Headteacher Jill Tillmanns said: “We had an excellent response from mothers who could attend.

The event proved a very enjoyable with a nice atmosphere. Following the meal pupils took their mother's for a tour of the school and also to look at their work.”
