The team of pooches, and their owners, have raised the funds for Chilli Children Trust by walking 100 miles over the month of February.

Organiser Sue Woods said: “It has been quite a challenge, but a good challenge.

Obviously the dogs have enjoyed it and it has been a good way of getting us all out.

“We still have some money to come in, but it is looking like we have raised around £947 for the Chilli Children Trust, which is amazing."

Chilli Children Trust supports the North Kigezi Diocese Growers, Orphans and Disabled Children's Project, based in Rukungiri. The Project Team help orphaned and disabled children in four districts at the very south western end of Uganda, bordering Rwanda and DR Congo.
