ANOTHER car crash has occurred on a controversial road near Cheadle.
At approximately 8.25am on Tuesday, March 5, there was a one vehicle Road Traffic Collision outside Jones and Shuffs bathroom centre on the A52 Kingsley Moor road near to its junction with the A522 Leek Road, heading towards Cheadle.
The collision involved a white Vauxhall Insignia which was in collision with a wall and overturned.
The driver, a man in his early 30s, was uninjured and the road was clear by 10am.
Cheadle Town Council and residents have repeatedly asked Staffordshire County Council to reduce the speed limit, implement traffic calming measures and improve road safety along the A522 after several collisions in recent years on the road, particularly at its approach into Cheadle and at its junction with the A52.
