Animal charity celebrates 45 years

Cheadle Animal Welfare Society is celebrating its 45th anniversary

CHEADLE and District Animal Welfare Society is celebrating its 45th Anniversary this year and has invited pupils from St Peter’s C E (A) First School in Alton, Dilhorne Endowed C E (VA) Primary School and St Werburgh’s C E (A) Primary School in Kingsley to take part in a poster competition to promote the charity's work.

The winning posters will be on display in Morrisons Supermarket in Well Street, Cheadle and posters produced by all of the pupils will be on display in the society's exhibition in The Pugin Heritage Visitor Centre, Lulworth House, 51 High Street, Cheadle, from March 12 to 22. The centre is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10 am to 4pm.
