A CHEADLE man is taking ‘doing something funny for money’ to the extreme.

Andrew Tomkinson, pictured, said: "I am always up for all things silly and wanted to do my little bit for Comic Relief this year. I will be dyeing my hair neon red."

He is dad to seven-year-old Hollie, who suffers with health problems and disabilities after she contracted a rare form of meningitis as a baby.

He said; "I have set up an official Red Nose Day Just Giving Page and have set my goal at £100.

The Master Potter in Tean Road is hosting an evening of head shaves, waxing and hair dying on Friday, March 15, from 5pm.
