MOST golfers never achieve a hole-in-one in their life – but Leek's Pete Nixon has had two in a single week!

Both of these were on the fourth hole, the first using an eight iron. Pete's last hole-in-one came 11 years ago.

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the club is hosting the Staffordshire ladies county championships.

On Friday, each competitor will play 36 holes. The following day, the competition goes to match play.
