LEEK CSOB vice chairman John Hyde has hailed the first team's great start to the new season.
Hyde said: "After a lot of work off the field to secure the club's future, it was up to the players to deliver – and they are doing just that."
Three successive away wins have put the first team six points clear at the top of the Staffordshire County Senior League First Division.

BABY-FACE assasin Zac Barker struck his third consecutive goal of the season to help the Reds maintain their 100 per cent record in Division One of the Staffs County Senior League.
The Old Boys' dream start to the campaign has now seen them register three successive away wins.
Jamie Pointon bagged the first goal at Milton, setting the scene for Barker to carry on his scoring exploits.
Another pleasing aspect for the Reds' management was a second consecutive clean sheet.

ASSISTANT manager Andy Hyde was full of praise for the Old Boys defence after their crushing victory at Wallsall-based Hawkins Sports last Wednesday.
"Most of the plaudits have been going to the goals the Reds have netted in pre-season, and the three scored in the opening fixture at Foley," said Hyde.
Goals were aplenty again in mid-week, with Barker and Cartlidge netting once more, and Mitch Shenton and Will Bown both opening their accounts.
Hyde commented: "I enjoyed the clean sheet as much as the win".
The Old Boys are way to Bradwell tonight (Wednesday) who have lost all three games to date this season. The match kicks off at 6.30pm.
