The village of Sheen welcomed people from as far away as Brazil and Russia to their annual flower festival last week.
The event, which was held at St Luke's Church, also attracted tourists from all over the UK.
Organisers had chosen TV programmes for the theme of this year's festival.
The arrangements, which had all be designed by local people, included Countdown, Last of the Summer Wine, Bill and Ben the Flower Pot Men, A Question of Sport, The Great British Bake Off and Deal or no Deal.
One couple visiting the Moorlands were tourists Peter and Christine Kieran of Huddersfield. The couple were made to feel like they were back at home when they saw the display featuring The Last of the Summer Wine, as they only live a few miles away from where the series was made.
The week's events also including a car boot sale at the village hall and car park, and a Songs of Praise service.
A spokesman said the festival had attracted a good turnout and it was hoped to raise valuable funds for the church.
