PLANS have been submitted to create an outdoor learning space at a Moorlands school.

A planning application has been put forward by Carol Gunn-Smith, headteacher of Ilam Primary School, for a change of use of part of agricultural land adjacent to the school boundary, for use as an outdoor learning space, with fence enclosure and new pedestrian access.

The proposals will now be decided by planning officers at the Peak District National Park Authority, who have given Monday March 3 as the target date for a decision on the scheme.
