POLICE and ambulances officers have been called to a road traffic collision at a junction which has been described as "dangerous".
Last Wednesday at 11.45am a black VW and grey Audi A4 were involved in a collision at the Ball Haye Street and Stockwell Street junction in Leek.
A police spokesman said: "We were called to the incident at 11.45am which involved two vehicles. The road was not blocked and the two drivers were walking wounded."
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said that a community paramedic was sent to the scene, but no-one was transferred to hospital.
Work has taken place at the junction as part of the town's highway changes.
At a recent Staffordshire Moorlands District Council planning applications committee meeting which was debating the deletion of work at the St Edward Street junction, county councillor Mike Worthington said: "There were more complaints coming in regarding Ball Haye Street junction which was the most dangerous.
"There are lots of problems around Leek which are not being sorted out."
