A QUEEN of Queen's competition has raised more than £700 for charity.

The event was hosted by Ipstones Agricultural Society Queen, Lydia Cartwright, in the village Memorial Hall.

Queens from Leek, Cheddleton and Brown Edge took part in the event.

Several stalls and games were available for visitors and Santa also made a visit.

The queen and retinue trophy was won by Leek and Moorlands Queen Kia Young.

A spokesman said the event had been enjoyed by the people attending and that an excellent amount of money had been raised.
