A MAN was taken to hospital with head injuries after his vehicle was in collision with a drystone wall on Sunday morning.
The incident occurred on Froghall Road midway between Ipstones and Froghall at approximately 8.50am.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to the incident, which involved a saloon car that had been involved in a collision with a drystone wall, at 8.53am.
"One male in his 40s was taken to the University Hospital in Stoke with what is believed to be minor head injuries. One ambulance and a community paramedic were sent to the scene."
A police spokesman said that the about 30 feet of drystone wall was taken out in the incident.
Fire crews from Ipstones and Cheadle were also called to the incident. However the driver was released prior to their arrival. Crews then made the vehicle safe.
