Garden equipment stolen in Cheddleton

GARDEN equipment worth around £2,000 has been stolen after a shed was broken into at Cheddleton.

Thieves stole lawnmowers, strimmers and other garden equipment from the property in Park Lane.

The incident occurred overnight on Monday, June 16, and Tuesday, June 17.

Thieves have also tried to break into a garage in Basford Bridge Lane in Cheddleton. Police say nothing was taken in the attempted break-in which was reported to police on Thursday, June 19.

Anyone who has any information on any of the two incidents or has been offered garden equipment is asked to call Staffordshire Police on their 101 number.
