PREPARATIONS are almost complete for the eighth Warslow Beer and Food Festival which takes place this Saturday, July 5.
The 12-hour event, which offers free entry and parking, will take place at the village hall site between noon and midnight.
Organisers have more than 30 draught beers on offer and around five types of cider, as well as wine, Pimm's and soft drinks.
There will be hot and cold food for sale all day, with Bagshaws of Butterton providing the sausages and burgers. There will also be ploughman's lunches and home-made cakes available.
Entertainment during the event will be provided by local band Funkstation, who will be headlining the show, as well as The Copycatz and Dig Where You Stand.
A spokesman for the event said: "We are also very pleased to have back the Warslow Silver Band this year. There will also be an entertainer for the children who will be performing soon after noon and will be with us throughout the afternoon. So come and join us for a terrific day and night at Warslow Village Hall."
