MIDFIELD dynamo Ant Danylyk has an orthopaedic appointment this week for treatment to the hand he damaged in the incident at Chasetown when Scholars' Simon Brown was sent off.

During the half-time interval at Chasetown, Blues physio Kevin Brown was able to put back Danylyk's dislocated finger. Now a cast will be fitted, after x-rays showed that a bone in the back of the player's hand was broken.

The injury failed to keep Danylyk out of the side at Brigg on Saturday and he is expected to take his place in the team for the visit of Lincoln tonight.

Brian Mellor Financial Services are the sponsors for tonight's match at Harrison Park.

Brian was a no-nonsense midfielder at Leek Town back in the late 80s and early 90s, alongside director Steve Norris, when Leek made their historic appearance in the FA Trophy final. Meanwhile, Blues' fans are reminded that a coach will be running to Scarborough on Saturday, April 12. Seats are available at £10 each. Contact Jamie Cullerton on 07827 360181 or Margaret Barker on 01538 386356 for details.
