The 80ft abseil in the beautiful Peak District countryside was completed by Judith Ward and the exhilarating challenge included a 70ft free-abseil descent over the River Wye, raising funds for the work of the British Red Cross.

See www.redcross.org.uk for details of the work the British Red Cross do.

Anyone wishing to contribute to the sponsorship can donate online at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/JUDITHWARDDOUBLEDARE

The next fund-raising event in the Oakamoor area is a coffee morning on November 16 at Oakamoor Village hall commencing at 10.30am.
