Staffordshire Moorlands farms targeted by theives

POLICE are investigating break-ins at two Staffordshire Moorlands farms.

A window was smashed to gain entry to an unoccupied farm in Dog Lane, Butterton last week.

A electric saw and drill were taken from the premises. The theft was discovered on Monday, July 28.

On Wednesday, July 30, a farm was broken into a Blakeley Lane, Dilhorne, where a lawn mower and pressure washer were taken. The property was later found in a nearby hedge.

Also on Wednesday, July 30, police received reports of a Kodak camera being stolen from the glove box of a car in Chorley Street, Leek

Police are also investigating the theft of an iPhone from Alton Tower after a male left the item in a locker while he went on the ride Rita.

The incident took place during the afternoon of Tuesday, July 29.
