ADJOURNED: An inquest has been adjourned on a crane driver who died in an industrial accident.

Joseph Harrison, aged 23, suffered fatal injuries during a shift at ACB Hydraulics, in Cheadle, where he had worked for five years.

Mr Harrison, of Limekiln Cottage, Congleton, died on September 24.

Coroner Ian Smith set a date for the inquest in June during a hearing at North Staffordshire Coroner's Court in Hartshill last week.

Mr Harrison grew up in Etruria and attended Reaseheath College in Nantwich where he studied agricultural engineering.

The former Thistley Hough High School pupil moved to Congleton with his mother last year.

ACB boss Adrian Baker, aged 51, of Foxt, was found dead at the factory, two weeks after Mr Harrison died.

Mr Harrison's parents Carl Harrison and Maria Harrison attended the pre-inquest review.
