You may have seen him in and around Cheadle and Leek with "Nala" and her bright purple coat. Charity Canine Partners is looking to raise funds and has a number of events planned for this weekend.

Today, Friday, September 20, there is a fashion show/sale of high street quality fashions at bargain prices being held at Marchington Village Hall, Uttoxeter, from 7.30pm. Tickets are £5 each.

Then on Saturday, September 21, you are invited to test your knowledge with the Canine Partners quiz at Wye Road Community Centre, Clayton, Newcastle-Under- Lyme. Teams of up to 6 at £5 per person. Start time is 8pm.

Also over the weekend Rob and Nala will be at Trentham Gardens Autumn Fair (free admission), where you can meet Canine Partners puppies of all ages, together with working fully trained dogs, who will be giving demonstrations, including opening and closing washing machines, collecting post and much more. Please come along and meet the dogs.

All proceeds from these events are in aid of Canine Partners, a registered charity (803680).

Tickets are available from Karen Hays on 07590 446610 or email karen.hays@btinternet.com
