THIS month's Farmer's Market took place at Cheadle's High Street market place on Saturday, April 12, offering something extra to those looking for a bargain.

Alongside the usual fresh produce and stalls, organisers introduced selected traders to add to the experience, such as painted flower pots, hand crafted jewellery and hand crafted glass goods, and more.

Co-organiser and town councillor Dave Sargeant, who owns Ventus Sports and Leisure at Cheadle Indoor Market said: "We were really impressed with the turnout, despite not having a full market. We're supported by very good traders and are hoping to increase our stalls and that this weekend's St George's Market will generate some more interest."
