LEEK Town girls under-13's finished their season on a high by winning the North Staffs. Junior Girls League tournament at Trubshaw Cross on Saturday.

The junior Blues triumphed against Norton 1-0 in the final.

Norton had been the only team to have beaten them in the heats.

The trophy-winning goal was scored by Laura Evans from a Sophie Walley corner played on by Kim Sheldon.
