Funeral held for former Cheadle town and county councillor Ray Hutchins

THE funeral has taken place for former Cheadle Town and Staffordshire County councillor Ray Hutchins.

The service was carried out at Carmountside Crematorium,led by Reverend Eric Last, with Cheadle Royal British Legion standard bearers on parade in honour of Mr Hutchin's military career.

Mr Hutchins served with the Royal Artillery during the Korean War and later went on to help design military vehicles and equipment as an illustrator.
