Waitrose has confirmed that during the temporary closure of the Post Office within the food store in Buxton Road, a taxis service for customers will be available.

A spokesman said: "During the closure of the Post Office, Waitrose will be providing a free taxi service to Westwood Post Office.

"The service will begin from Monday, March 31, through until the branch opens in May. A taxi will run between the car park opposite the branch (in Buxton Road) to the Westwood Post Office.

"The driver will be stationed at the branch and will regularly return back and forth between the two locations.
