BACK for a ninth year, the Stone Food and Drink Festival is a fantastic celebration of all things gastronomic in Staffordshire and a huge hit in the country thanks to the continued support from headline sponsor, Taste of Staffordshire.
Running from Friday (October 4) until Sunday (October 6), visitors to the event can enjoy a host of festival favourites including foodie exhibits, cookery demonstrations from top local chefs, children’s entertainment and the Titanic Beer Festival for fans of real ale and live music.
A new and exciting addition to the three-day festival is the ‘Pop-up in the Park’ restaurant and piano bar, co-ordinated by Group Executive Chef for The Lewis Partnership, Matt Davies, where guests will be able to enjoy a unique fine dining experience, including champagne and canapés.
Graeme Whitehead, Group Manager for Tourism and Marketing at Taste of Staffordshire said: “The festival is a real celebration of Staffordshire’s exceptional food offer and we are always excited to support the event each year. As an important addition to the county’s culinary calendar, visitors will be able to experience a range of demonstrations from top chefs, including the winners of the Young Chef and Master Chef competition 2013, to local food producers. It really has it all for foodies.” Owners of a Staffordshire Enjoy Card can take advantage of an exclusive two for one offer on entry by signing up for a free card at www.enjoystaffordshire.co m. Discounted event space is also available for accredited Taste of Staffordshire producers.
