A POPULAR music festival will be returning to Buxton Opera House next month with music from a host of famous-name musicians, to warm up the cold nights.

Four Four Time 2014 takes place from Saturday, February 15 to Saturday, February 22 and altogether has 16 events staged in the Opera House and the Pavilion Arts Centre. Headlining the festival this year (Wednesday 19), is the legendary Queen guitarist Brian May with singing sensation Kerry Ellis. Together they will perform stripped down versions of Queen classics alongside their personal favourites.

Mike and The Mechanics are celebrating their 25th Anniversary at the Festival, with a gig on (Saturday 15) which has already sold out. An unlikely support act will come in the shape Downton Abbey star Elizabeth McGovern in Sadie & The Hotheads.

Kiki Dee (Don't Go Breaking My Heart) will be back at Four Four Time with guitarist and writer Carmelo Luggeri on Saturday 15 December; and Britpop legends Toploader (Dancing in the Moonlight and Time of My Life) are set to appear on Sunday 16 February.
