The sun shone for a mini music festival at a village school.
Last Thursday saw the return of the Ipstones festival at St Leonard's First School, the Ipstones I-Fest.
It was an exciting afternoon of festival fun, a mini 'Glastonbury', and a finale to the Reception and Key Stage one pupils 'Great Outdoors Topic'.
Parents were invited to St Leonard's First School for the afternoon to join in with a whole host of fun activities with the children, from hook a duck to tractor racing, and even a karaoke stage.
The highlight of the afternoon was the musical concert, performed by all of the children and including a medley of popular songs new and old, with something for everybody.
Finishing the afternoon off was an outdoor disco, which everyone joined in.
Organiser, Kelly Stanesby, Senior Teacher at the school said: "The children have been working very hard practising their words and their efforts have certainly paid off."
Parents got into the spirit of the afternoon, bringing their own fold-up camping chairs and dressing up in their own festival style.
David Mellor, Headteacher at the school added: "The weather was a perfect addition to a great day.
"It was fantastic to see so many supporters coming to see their children perform.
"The afternoon was a great success which was enjoyed by everyone."
