CHURCHES Together In Cheadle and District continue to work together to support community development and provide opportunities for all faith groups to worship and learn together.

They recently held a United Service at St Giles the Abbot Church to celebrate Pentecost and prior to this had organised the town collection for Christian Aid.

Through the generosity of local people £1,400 has now been sent to help the work of Christian Aid.

Many thanks to all who donated and collected.
