THE FOLLOWING CASES HAVE APPEARED BEFORE NORTH STAFFORDSHIRE MAGISTRATES’ COURT, NEWCASTLE

The case of Robert James Davies, of Foxes Plantation, Bones Lane, Cheddleton, aged 41, who was charged with assault in Wetley Rocks on October 3 and breaching his bail conditions on October 6 and 7, has been discontinued.

Christopher Gee, of 11 Sneyd Close, Cheddleton, aged 47, has been charged with driving a Nissan Navara on Basford Bridge Lane in Cheddleton on September 21 while over the drink drive limit. He pleaded guilty and has been fined £95, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20, court costs of £85 and has been disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 16 months.

Daniel Lee Morris, of 11 The Grange, Cheadle Road, Forsbrook, aged 24, has been charged with driving a black VW Golf on Bridgwood Road in Blythe Bridge without a driving licence and insurance and obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty on April 13. He has also been charged with failing without reasonable excuse to surrender to custody at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court on October 22. A warrant has been issued for his arrest without bail as he did not appear in court.

James Alan Mould, of Flat 1, 7 High Street, Leek, aged 38, has been charged with being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely Market Place in Leek, and assaulting two police officers in the execution of their duty in Leek on September 22. He pleaded guilty and has been committed to prison for 12 weeks and ordered to pay total compensation of £500.

Timothy George Walker, of Apartment 1, Davenport Court, Salisbury Street, Leek, aged 28, has been charged with assault and damaging a Blackberry mobile phone in Leek on September 8. He pleaded not guilty and has been remanded on unconditional bail until December 4 when he is due to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court.

Robert John Blacker-Kyle, of Common End Cottage, Common End, Hollington, aged 67, has been charged with being the owner of a dog which was dangerously out of control in a public place namely Main Road, Hollington, and while out of control injured someone on June 2. He pleaded guilty and has been fined £230, ordered to pay compensation of £100 and a victim surcharge of £23 and court costs of £85 and has been ordered to keep the dog under proper control in a public place and to be keep it on a lead.

Jake Aaron Eardley, of 282 Uttoxeter Road, Blythe Bridge, aged 22, has been charged with using or threatening unlawful violence on another person in Blythe Bridge on April 5. He has been sent to Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court to appear on January 27 and granted unconditional bail.

Amanda Jane Lloyd, of 34 Hardy Close, Cheadle, aged 41, has been charged with two counts of assault in Cheadle on June 4 and 5. She pleaded not guilty and has been remanded on conditional bail until December 17 when she is due to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court.

Arthur Tafira Baker, of 25 Lomond Grove, Cheadle, aged 34, has been charged with assault in Cheadle on July 7. A warrant has been issued for his arrest without bail after he failed to appear in court.

Jamie Anthony Barnett, of 44 Chapel Street, Forsbrook, aged 34, has been charged with driving a BMW on Grindley Lane, Blythe Bridge, on July 26 while over the drink drive limit. He pleaded guilty and has been fined £900, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £90 and court costs of £85 and has been disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 14 months, to be reduced by three moths if he satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.

Andrew Barnes, of Ash Tree Farm, Brown Edge, aged 44, has been charged with assault in Brown Edge on June 1 and 30. He pleaded guilty and has been given a community order to attend appointments with the responsible officer at times and places as directed for 12 months and has been ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and court costs of £160.

Darren Philip Crombie, of 28 Alsop Street, Leek, aged 35, has been charged with driving a Iveco Daily on Macclesfield Road, Leek, while over the drink drive limit. He pleaded guilty and has been fined £90, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85 and disqualified from holding or obtaining as driving licence for §12 moths to be reduced if he satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.

Kerry Morris, of 40 Carlton Terrace, Leek, aged 29, has been charged with using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards another in Leek on August 4, while subject to a conditional discharge for 12 months. She has also been charged with assaulting a police officer in the execution of his duty on September 28 in Leek. She pleaded guilty and has been given a community order to participate in Building Skills for Recovery within 547 days as directed by the supervising officer and to attend appointments with the responsible officer or another person at times and places as directed for 18 months, she has also been ordered to pay court costs of £85, compensation of £100 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Zoltan Vincze, of 6 Moorside Road, Werrington, aged 38, has been charged with assault in Draycott on October 17. He has been remanded on conditional bail until November 7 when he is due to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court.

Anthony Leroy Jones, of 31 The Avenue, Blythe Bridge, aged 33, has been charged with damaging a laptop and assault in Blythe Bridge on September 16 and assault stealing a bottle of Jack Daniels in Meir on September 4. He has been committed to prison for a total of 18 weeks.

Thomas Andrew Goodwin, of 76 Wardle Crescent, Leek, aged 20, has been charged with assault and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour against another person in Leek on July 20 and assault in Leek on August 27. He pleaded not guilty and has been remanded on unconditional bail until December 18 when he is due to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court.

Craig Peter Sheldon, of 25 The Walks, Leek, aged 27, has been charged with being in possession of a controlled class B drug in Leek on July 30. He pleaded guilty and has been fined £70 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.
