A village music club has had another scoop in enlisting a top act to perform for them.
Emmott and The Folkestra will be at the Dog & Partridge pub in Marchington on Sunday (June 1) as part of this week's Marchington Music Club.
Emmott and The Folkestra are a modern folk band with influences from rock and punk. One reviewer described them as "a punk driven, rock fuelled folk machine."
Their latest single 'Steady Away' is now available to hear and watch online, while their debut album is set to be released this month on Suff Records. They played a number of large UK festivals throughout 2013 alongside over 100 shows and are now in the process of booking a UK tour for 2014.
Landlord of the Dog and Partridge Paul Needham said: "Emmott and The Folkestra are currently on tour and are high-tailing out of London on the Saturday to come and squeeze into our humble club at the Dog & Partridge on Sunday at 5pm which is just fantastic."
