ALTHOUGH losing their unbeaten tag, Dyers Arms IV put up a spirited performance against Division One title contenders Ashcombe Park.

Dyers Arms III were thus allowed to extend their advantage in pole position. It was a tough time for all three Ball Haye Tavern teams, who mustered only three points between them.

In Division Two, Red Lion were mauled by a determined Travellers Rest, for whom there was a hattrick of 180 scorers.

They now sit pretty on top, with Lazy Trout second, after beating Ashcombe Park II.

The top two clashed in the third tier with leaders Horseshoe just shading it over Windmill after a long journey for the visitors.

Prince of Wales and Boat Inn are waiting in the wings for any slip-ups.

Hare & Gate demolished Benks III in Division Four to go seven points clear at the top.

Boat Inn and Snooker Club are locked together at the head of the fifth tier, with the former dropping only one leg in sinking Dyers Arms.

Ball Haye Tavern look strong in the basement division after beating leaders Flying Horse III, who maintain their narrow lead courtesy of Benks getting the better of second-placed Priory.
