A HOLLYWOOD star has apparently visited the Staffordshire Moorlands.
Johnny Depp was reportedly spotted in St Edward Street in Leek yesterday (Saturday, August 30) and also having refreshments at the town's Foxlowe Arts Centre.
Manager at The Foxlowe Arts Centre, Ian Wilson, said: “He came in for a coffee and a slice of cake. It was all round town and over social media. My telephone was red hot. I had to turn it off after a while.
“He was here with his agent and a couple of others. There was no fuss, no grand-standing or anything like that. Everyone behaved pretty normally around him.”
However, Ian also told the Post & Times that there has since been a lot of fuss over the chair which the Pirates of the Caribbean star had apparently sat in. So much so that Ian has decided to remove the seat from the cafe.
Ian added: "I didn't meet him myself, but our staff and volunteers have said that he said he liked the Foxlowe and what we are doing here."
