Andy 'The Hammer' Hamilton will be playing at a village pub in the Moorlands in two weeks

DARTS legend Andy 'The Hammer' Hamilton will be playing at a village pub in the Moorlands in two weeks' time to raise money for charity.

He will be taking to the oche at the Rose & Crown at Stanley Moor, near Stockton Brook, in support of North Staffordshire's Douglas Macmillan Hospice.

The event, on Wednesday, April 16, has been organised by the pub's owner Michael Mottram in memory of his wife Lynne.

Darts fans will have a chance to play Andy in return for a donation and their will also be a raffle for some of the darts star's memorabilia.
