Youngsters have been enjoying a host of creative activities at a town library.

Leek Library was the venue for some Easter fun during the recent school holidays.

Youngsters were invited to paint an eggcup of their own design and decorate it with tiny eggs and chicks.

A spokesman at Leek Library said: "Most of the children wanted to keep their egg cup but there were a couple of children who wanted to surprise a relative with a special hand-made gift.

"In between waiting for the paint to dry the children produced some beautiful Easter cards, bunny bags and pictures.

"Over the Rainbow Toy Shop, in Leek, kindly donated some toys as prizes for our Easter Bunny Hunt so the library was buzzing with children trying to find the pictures of Easter, carefully hidden, to win the fabulous chocolate free prizes.

"They all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and went home with some special gifts for friends and family.
