Lee Thomas Brassington, of 42 Mackenzie Crescent, Cheadle, aged 24, has been charged with damaging a Renault Laguna valued at £300 and damaging a window on June 15 in Cheadle.He pleaded not guilty and has been remanded on conditional bail to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrate's court on November 19.

 

Stephan John Ball, of 76 Haregate Road, Leek, aged 25, has been charged with stealing insulation in Leek on August 22.He pleaded guilty and has been given a community order to participate in Custody Diversion for 60 days and to attend appointments with the responsible officer for 12 months. He has also been ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and court costs of £85.He has also been charged with stealing food in Leek on September 16 to which he pleaded not guilty.He has been remanded on conditional bail until November 8 to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrate's Court and must not enter any retail premises in Leek except for Lloyds Chemist in Fountain Street and must report to Leek Police station between 2pm and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays.

Gemma Ann Jackson, of 2 Dolespring Close, Forsbrook, aged 19, has been charged with two charges of assault, one of which was racially aggravated, and damaging a car in Forsbrook on May 17.She has been remanded on conditional bail to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrate's court on October 14.

Timothy George Walker, of Apartment 1, Davenport Court, Salisbury Street, Leek, aged 28, has been charged with using threatening, abusive or insulting words to another in Leek on June 22. He pleaded guilty and has been remanded on conditional bail to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrate's Court on October 15 and must not enter Queens Drive, Leek.

Mohammed Yasin Chaudhry, of 68 Stallington Road, Blythe Bridge, aged 56, has been charged with failing to give police information relating to the identification of the driver of a Vauxhall Zafira who was alleged to be guilty of an offence in Stafford on February 14. He pleaded guilty and has been fined £110, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence has been endorsed with six points.

Lisa Jayne Ryan, of 15 Blythe Close, Blythe Bridge, aged 33, has been charged with stealing two flutes from Blythe Bridge on June 27. She pleaded guilty and has been remanded on unconditional bail to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrate's Court on October 15.

Lynn Matthews, of 4 The Crescent, Leek, aged 46, has been charged with using a Vauxhall Corsa without insurance on Cheddleton Road in Cheddleton on August 25. She pleaded not guilty and has been remanded on unconditional bail to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrate's Court on November 12.

Damien Ashley Carter, of 9 Railway Cottages, Leekbrook, aged 31, has been charged with stealing in Rudyard between August 12 and August 14; stealing in Leek on July 28; stealing in Leek between September 1 and September 16; stealing in Leek between September 10 and September 13. He pleaded not guilty and has been remanded into custody to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrate's Court on October 17. He has also been charged with trespassing and theft in Leek on July 31 and between July 23 and July 26. For these offences he has been sent to Stoke-on-Trent Crown court to appear on October 7.

Karon Ruth Mary Gallo, of Flat 3, 45-47 St Edward Street, Leek, aged 39, has been charged with breaching a restraining order in Leek on September 17 while on conditional discharge for 12 months for an offence of harassment. She pleaded guilty and has been discharged conditionally for 18 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and court costs of £85.

Andrew Barnes, of Sparrow Bill Cottage, Boardmans Bank, Brown Edge, aged 44, has been charged with assault in Brown Edge on June 1 and June 30. He pleaded guilty and has been remanded on unconditional bail to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrate's Court on October 17.

Steven Raymond Plant, of 53 Fernwood Drive, Leek, aged 43, has been charged with driving a Citroen Saxo on Kildare Street, Stoke-on-Trent without due care and attention, failing to stop after an accident and failing to report an accident to police on May 30. He pleaded guilty and has fined £125, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of 385 and his licence has been endorsed with eight points.

David Alan Swain, of 3 Red Row, Ipstones, aged 7, has been charged with driving a Mercedes on Ashbourne Road in Bradnop on July 9 without due care and attention. He pleaded guilty and has been fined £35, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of 385 and his licence has been endorsed with three points.

Glynn Norman Thompson, of 13 Clerk Bank, leek, aged 68, has been charged with harassment in Leek on August 26. He has been remanded on conditional bail to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrate's Court on October 25.

Pamela Mary Davey, of Flat 43, Rowan Court, Mayfield Drive, Blythe Bridge, aged 55, has been charged with being the owner of a dog which was dangerously out of control on a walkway off Adamthwaite Drive, Blythe Bridge, which caused injury to another person while out of control on June 23. She has been remanded on unconditional bail to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrate's Court on October 25.

Mark Andrew Banks, of 20 Kempton Grove, Cheadle, aged 38, has been charged with using threatening, abusive or insulting words towards another person in Stoke-on-Trent on August 17. He pleaded guilty and has been given a community order to be under curfew for two months and to remain at 20 Kempton Grove, Cheadle, every day between 7pm and 7am, and to be electrically monitored to ensure circumstance. He has also been ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and court costs of £85.

Daniel Keith Borthwick, of 152 Mill Street, Leek, aged 22, has been charged with driving a Renault 5 Campus on Haywood Street, Leek, on April 22 without due care and attention in that he allowed a male on roller blades to be pulled by his vehicle along the street for approximately 30 to 40 metres before the male came free from the vehicle. He pleaded not guilty and the case has been adjourned until November 15 when he is due to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrate's Court.

Jason Lewis Clarke, of Hermitage Farm, Froghall, Cheadle, aged 39, has been charged with driving a Ford Transit on Well Street, Cheadle, on August 18 while over the drink drive limit. He pleaded guilty and has been fined £440, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £85, and has been disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 24 months to be reduced by six months if he satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.

Francis Jean Harrison, of 12 Barley Road, Ipstones, aged 61, has been charged with failing to provide a specimen to police in Etruria on August 18. She pleaded guilty and has been fined £110 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85 and her licence has been endorsed with 10 points.

Gary Paul Swietek, of 29 Basement, Sandon Street, Leek, aged 38, has been charged with failing to provide a specimen while in police custody at Etruria on May 30; stealing meat in Leek on August 10; Stealing cash in Leek between August 9 and August 12 and committing an offence while subject to a conditional discharge. He pleaded guilty to all charges and has been given a prison sentence of one month suspended for 12 months and he must comply with a supervision period of 12 months, to have treatment for drug dependency for 12 months, to attend appointments with the responsible officer where and when stated and to pay compensation of £28.50.

Linzi Jane Holdham, of 71 Prince Charles Avenue, Leek, aged 42, has been charged with producing and being in possession of cannabis in Leek on August 8. She pleaded not guilty to producing cannabis, but pleaded guilty to being in possession of cannabis. She has been remanded on unconditional bail to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court on November 26.

Kerry Morris, of 40 Carlton Terrace, Leek, aged 29, has been charged with assaulting a police officer in Leek on September 28. She pleaded guilty and has been remanded in custody to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court on October 21.

Philip Morris, of 12 Westwood Road, leek, aged 46, has been charged with assault in Leek on August 22. He pleaded guilty and has been remanded on conditional bail and committed to Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court at a time and date to be fixed.

Gareth Leo Ferns, of 77 Prince Charles Street, Leek, aged 25, has been charged with driving Renault Laguna on Newcastle Road, Leek, at a speed exceeding its 30 mph limit on March 4, and failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a Renault Laguna to police when requested to do so in Stafford on April 16. The case was due to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court on October 4.
