THE FOLLOWING CASES HAVE APPEARED BEFORE NORTH STAFFORDSHIRE MAGISTRATES' COURT IN NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME

Lisa Jayne Ryan, of 15 Blythe Close, Blythe Bridge, aged 33, has been charged with stealing two flutes and a violin valued £460 in Blythe Bridge on June 27. She pleaded guilty and has been remanded on unconditional bail until November 5 when she is due to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court.

Timothy George Walker, of Apartment 11, Davenport Court, Salisbury Street, Leek, aged 28, has been charged with using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour towards another during the operational period of a suspended sentence in Leek on June 22. He pleaded guilty and has been given a community order to participate in the Alcohol Workbook for 365 days, to attend appointments with the responsible officer at times and places as directed for 12 months and to carry out supervised unpaid work for 54 hours within the next 12 months. He has also been fined £50 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £250.

Dean Walmsley, of 8 Selbourne Road, Leek, aged 22, has been charged with undoing an item of lower clothing in a public place in Newcastle-Under-Lyme on July 26 which he was prohibited from doing under the terms of a sexual offences prevention order. He has been remanded into custody and sent for trial to Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court to appear on November 1.

Mathew Albert Peter Hardy, of 12 Grove Street, Leek, aged 28, has been charged with assault in Leek on September 1. He pleaded not guilty and has been remanded on conditional bail until November 28 when he is due to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court.

Michael Lee Moss, of 43 Windsor Drive, Leek, aged 25, has been charged with failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to report on August 28 for IDAP session and failing to report for unpaid work on September 7. He admitted the breach and has been ordered to pay court costs of £60 and ordered to participate in SIADA for 365 days, to attend appointments with the responsible officer at times and place as directed for 12 months and carry out supervised unpaid work for 51 hours within the next 12 months.

Trevor Fitzherbert-Stewart, of 37 Britannia Street, Leek, aged 40, has been charged with stealing a 'Celebrity Slim' meal supplement in Leek on August 29. He pleaded guilty and has been remanded on unconditional bail until November 1 when he is due to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court.

Daniel Adam Need, of The Valiant, Stanley Street, Leek, aged 18, has been charged with damaging a window in Leek on September 8. He pleaded guilty and has been given a conditional discharge for 18 months, ordered to pay compensation of £900, a victim surcharge of £15, and court costs of £85.

Elizabeth Jane Hawkins, of 22 Bridgewood Road, Blythe Bridge, aged 44, has been charged with driving a Fiat Punto Active failing to comply with a red light signal on Blythe Bridge Level Crossing on March 12. She pleaded guilty and has been fined £60 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of 320 and her driving licence has been endorsed with three points.

Gemma Ann Jackson, of 2 Dolespring Close, Forsbrook, aged 19, has been charged with assault and racially aggravated assault and damaging a car in Forsbrook on May 17. She pleaded not guilty to the assault charges and guilty to damaging the car and has been remanded on conditional bail until December 13 when she is due to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court.

Vimalathasan Sinnathurai, of 13 Johnstone Avenue, Werrington, aged 33, has been charged with intentionally sexually touching woman aged 16 or over without her consent in Werrington on August 2. He pleaded not guilty and has been remanded on conditional bail until November 29 when he is due to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court.

Abdul Haque, of Afroz, Post Lane, Endon, aged 69, has been charged with driving a Renault Laguna on the A53 Leek Road at the junction with Station Road in Endon without due care and attention on April 3. He pleaded guilty and has been fined £90, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £60 and his driving licence has been endorsed with six points.

Alan Ray Fletcher, of 12 Princess Avenue, Leek, aged 26, has been charged with assault in Cheadle on September 14. He pleaded guilty and has been remanded on conditional bail until October 31 when he is due to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court.

Daniel Philip Clarke, of 1 Greenacres Avenue, Blythe Bridge, aged 36, has been charged with assault and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards another in Stoke-on-Trent on September 7. He pleaded not guilty and has been remanded on unconditional bail until November 26 when he is due to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court.

Robert James Davies, of Foxes Plantation, Bones Lane, Cheddleton, aged 41, has been charged with assault in Wetley Rocks on October 3 and breaching his bail conditions on October 6 and 7. He admits the breach and has been remanded on conditional bail until October 24 when he is due to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court.

Matthew Lee Walters, of 16 Barracks Way, Leek, aged 31, has been charged with producing a quantity of cannabis, being in possession of 70.95 grammes of amphetamine and being in possession of 75 cannabis plants in Leek on February 1 He has been granted unconditional bail and sent for trial to Stoke-on-Trent Crown court to appear on January 13 2014.

Kenneth Dodd, of 4 Forgeside, Endon, aged 60, has been charged with driving a Suzuki Swift on The Plough car park in Leek Road in Endon while over the drink drive limit on August 31. He pleaded guilty and has been given a community order to participate in the alcohol Workbook for 365 days and attend appointments with the responsible officer at times and places as directed for 12 months. He has also been ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and court costs of £85 and has been disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 24 months, to be reduced by six months if he satisfactorily completes course approved by the Secretary of State.

Amanda Jane Lloyd, of 34 Hardy Close, Cheadle, aged 40, has been charged with two charges of assault in Cheadle on June 5. She pleaded not guilty and has been remanded on conditional bail until October 30 when she is due to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court.

The case of Carol Tidmarsh, of 29 Park Bank, in Leek, Staffordshire, aged 49 who was charged with entering 6 Milner Terrace as a trespasser on May 21 and stealing various ornaments, clothing and a personal item with its value unknown has been dismissed.

Michael Alexander Crooks, of 3 Thames Drive, Cheadle in Stoke on Trent, aged 25 has been charged with intentionally exposing his genitals for the intention that someone would see them and that person could be caused alarm or distress between April 23 and May 11 at Cheadle. He has pleaded not guilty and has been granted unconditional bail and his case has been adjourned for trial until January 7 at been sent for trial at Stoke on Trent Crown Court.
